Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Review – Glam Radar
Hello beauties here is my RIMMEL MOISTURE RENEW LIPSTICKS review!
Rimmel’s new Moisture Renew lipsticks are supposedly the renamed, repackaged and reformulated replacement of the discontinued Rich Moisture line. I wasn’t very familiar with those, but I am told the new version is a lot more creamy in comparison to the old formula (which was drier and heavier).

» 220 Heather Shimmer is a medium mauve pink with a pearl finish
» 250 Glamourous Pink is a muted dusty rose.
» 340 Lily Extase (from Moisture Renew Full Bloom) is a bright blue based fuchsia pink.
» 500 Diva Red is a deep rapsberry red.
» 600 Soft Coral is a peachy-pink with frosty shimmer.
» 620 Coral Queen is a bright pink coral.
» 700 Nude Delight is a peach nude with warm undertones.
» 910 Spotlight Beige (from Moisture Renew Multidimensional) is a pink nude.
The Moisture Renew line also boasts the addition of collagen, polypeptides, and hyaluronic acid as well as vitamins A, C, and E for lip hydration, protection and improvement. There is also an added sun protection of SPF20, which is unfortunately why they have a slight sunscreen scent.
The nature of the formula means that the colours don’t last too long on my lips – roughly 3-4 hours for the most pigmented shades, and an hour or so shorter for the lighter ones. I like how moisturising the lipsticks feel upon initial application, and they certainly have a nice little slip to them without being too creamy, but they don’t however give any moisture to my lips – merely retaining what is there. Disappointingly, unless I touch up every couple of hours or so the lipsticks look and feel more and more dry as they wear, and they would undoubtedly be considered drying for those with more sensitive lips. On the whole, they are nice inexpensive lipsticks with a good range of colours but I feel like the somewhat drying formula is disappointing for a lipstick that promises hydration.
