Revlon Matte Lipstick Review – Glam Radar

A pleasant day guys! here is my REVLON MATTE LIPSTICKS review!

I was so impressed with the Revlon Matte lipsticks when I first picked up Mauve It Over and Really Red that, the instant Boots had a 3 for 2 offer, I purchased all of the others. I do find these slightly drying, unsurprisingly considering the matte formula, and some of the shades are prone to settling in the lines of my lips so moisturising with lip balm was essential before application, but other that these are absolutely amazing. I love that they are scent (and taste) free.

» Nude Attitude is a peachy nude colour with subtle purple/blue iridescent.
» Pink Pout is a cool, retro pink/lilac shade.
» Mauve It Over is a warm, peachy pink nude.
» Pink About It is bright, coral pink.
» Strawberry Suede is a warm, coral pink-red.
» Really Red is a classic neutral red.
» In The Red is a warm, muted brick red with brown undertone.
» Cocoa Craving is a warm brown.
» Fabulous Fig is a warm, brown red.
» Wine Not is dark, plummy, burgundy red.

Out of the ten shades, I find Nude Attitude is the most drying and unforgiving for lips that are dry, cracked or peeling. Personally, I like it – on good lip days of course – but I have read complaints of the shade appearing too orange upon application. The purple/blue iridescent can also make the colour appear grey in certain lighting so this, along with Wine Not, are probably the least universally flattering, and the hardest to wear, shades from this range.
