Hello there ladies here is my Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil Review!

The newest addition to my skincare regime is Trilogy’s famous Rosehip Oil. I tend to stick to the same sort of products when it comes to skincare so I don’t often talk about what I use.. and this isn’t so much a review of the product as a FYI to hesitant oily-combination skin girls:  yes, we can actually use facial oils without breaking out! I have always avoided using oily products in the past but my skin has been surprisingly dehydrated looking recently and there were a few patches of stubborn dry skin that I couldn’t get rid of.


After trying a few moisturisers (creams intended for oily skin were not hydrating enough, creams intended for dry skin felt much too heavy on my skin), exfoliates and even Lanolin Lanolips, I still couldn’t shift them so I wanted to try my luck with oils.

Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil is very light, not too greasy oil that applies really well onto the skin. At first I only used it on my dry patches, which it successfully treated after a week of continuous use, and then I thought I may as well try it on the rest of my face instead of letting it go to waste. Other than my stubborn patches of dry skin, I could begin to see signs of aging from dehydrated skin within the last few years because I have never committed to a moisturiser before so I am astonished how much difference this has made. The results may not be noticeable to anyone other than me, but I can definitely see an improvement in the texture of my skin. I use 2 drops most evenings (3 if my skin is feeling particularly dehydrated) and sometimes 1 drop in the morning if I am using a sunscreen with a high alcohol content.  It doesn’t sink into the skin immediately and I take the opportunity to give my face a little massage whilst there is some slip. My foundation sits better on my face, and funnily enough my T-zone doesn’t get as oily as it used to.
