So this morning I received my order from Zuneta of a couple products that I have been hankering for, for a while now! I bought Rouge Bunny Rouge For Love of Roses Blush in Gracilis which is described as “a medium rose with a hint of mauve” and I’d say that was a spot on description. It’s a lovely blush in the pan and once it’s applied on the cheeks but to swatch, I found it a bit difficult. It’s not densely pigmented so you don’t get a stripe across your face but it is very buildable and blendable which makes it easy to control where you put it and how intense you like it.
The texture is very light and silky feeling, not powdery at all. It’s as if it virtually melts into the skin? I wore it with no base on bare skin and it lasted ALL DAY with no real sign of fading.
I also bought another Edward Bess lippy in Night Romance which I’ve been lemming for a VERY LONG TIME and finally just did it and popped it into the basket. I’m so glad I did! I wish I bought it when I first saw it ages ago because it’s just my cup of tea. A perfect hue of pink/mauve that I love and the texture is so lovely. I’m absolutely loving wearing it and am going to make it my lip of the day tomorrow for a jewellery launch that I’m doing nails at so I’ll be all glammed up with a pretty lip… It’s a bit of a sophisticated colour, me thinks.
I got hours of it and even after lunch, it just needed a little top up. It is scented but I love the smell. I’ve heard people say it smells of figs but I’m not sure really, I just know I really like it. The first Ed Bess lippy I got came in a square tube which I actually hate and have never blogged about it because I only put it on at home before I leave the house and take another lipstick colour out with me so after it’s come off I just use the one I have with me. It’s not a good shape to keep in my hand bag and I just don’t like it. I’m so happy to see the return of the round tube. 🙂
So what do you think of my choices? I really like the colours and the quality is lush too.
