A spot remover that actually works!- Origins Super Spot Remover
I’m quite lucky when it come to my skin. I don’t have major breakouts and have the normal combination skin, with a little redness that ends up being covered with foundation- so that’s not a problem as it’s quite easy to handle. However on the odd occasion, my skin thinks it’s okay to appear on the most obvious part of my face, so obviously I have to do something about it, right?.
I’ve tried out so many spot removing creams, gels whatever you want to call em’ I tried them all and nothing seems to work, until I found the Origins Super Spot Remover. Jeez I sound like I’m doing a commercial don’t I?!
I was browsing through the Origins counter at Debenhams and I remember hearing people rave about this product, so I thought it was the perfect time to pick it up seen as it was payday. The lady at the Origins counter was super helpful and told me everything I needed to know about how it works and how to use it, I’m sure she wasn’t hard selling but either way, I was going to buy the product nonetheless.
The price tag made my bank cry a little bit, since let’s be honest- £12 for a 10ml bottle sounds absolutely absurd, but I eventually got over it.
The product contains ‘salicylic acid and anti-spot technology’. I don’t get the anti-spot technology phrase. I think they just use it to sound all fancy- but whatever it is, it works!
I use a cotton bud and squeeze out the smallest dab and apply it on the spot, and boy can you feel it work! It almost becomes painful when the salicylic acid starts to work. The closest I could compair it to is when you cut your finger and accidentally apply some nail polish remover. But as they say ‘no pain, no gain‘.
By applying this in the morning and before you go to bed, you can really see the difference the next day. If the spot was small, it would be gone the next day, if it was a little larger it would take another day before It completely disappeared. I must say though, it’s pretty drying and forms a layer of product after an hour which can be pretty unappealing, but if it works it really doesn’t matter to me!
It’s totally worth the £12! The 10 ml will last you an age, because you honestly need the smallest amount to get visible and good results. I can comfortably say, I will be using this for a very long time and I can see myself repurchasing it when it runs out!
