Hello friends here is my Milani Baked Blush – Luminoso – Review and Swatches!
Every once in awhile you have those little impulse buys where your only justification is that everyone else likes it. That’s exactly what this was for me.
I’ve heard an endless amount of amazing things about the Milani Baked Blushes, and honestly never paid much attention to them. In fact, I didn’t even own a single Milani product until now.
What’s deadly is when you see a product mentioned by someone else or worn by someone else, and when EVERYONE is commenting on it wanting to know what it is. If everyone else loves it, then it must be worth a try, right?
Milani Baked Blushes are available at the drug store for around $8-9. At this price point, they are definitely still something that you have to think about before purchasing. With each and every blush you get .12 oz or 3.5 grams of product, a mirror and a small applicator brush.
The product looks luxurious, feels heavenly and is a definite go-to blush.
Each blush is packaged beautifully in this sleek golden container.
The face of the blush is a beautiful reflective gold, where as the bottom is a more matte plastic finish.
Along with the blush, you also get a small applicator brush and a mirror.
What’s wonderful about this packaging is that you are getting a blush and a compact all in one.
Surprisingly the applicator that comes inside isn’t half bad. It’s dense enough to pick up enough product, and soft enough to feel good on the skin. It’s definitely more practical than carrying a kabuki or travel size brush with you.
The mirror is small, but gets the job done for quick touch-ups on the go.
Although the product is packaged in a very luxurious looking container, the plastic is rather cheap and I don’t imagine it would withstand a drop or two. The clear plastic on the face of the blush is flimsy, along with the sides and the snap closure.

The pigmentation on this blush is absolutely beautiful. I am always weary of baked blushes (not just drug store ones – I’ve always even avoided high end baked products) in fear that they will be shimmery, chalky, or not very pigmented.
But again, with all the praise that this blush was receiving, it was just something I had to try.
I’m glad that this blush didn’t fall into my expectations, and that it is beautiful in every aspect.
It doesn’t have any chunky shimmer, but a nice sheen that makes your skin liven up and look awake, it’s no where near chalky, and the pigmentation is stunning.
Because you have this product that is beautifully pigmented, it makes application all the more easier.
You don’t need to work fast or long with blending this product, it applies effortlessly.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for that beautiful peachy pink shade to brighten up their complexion. After purchasing, I can definitely see why this blush is a crowd favorite.
