By now you must all know that I LOVE handbags. More than any other fashion item handbags are my one true weakness. So I hope you will understand when I tell you that on first glimpse at the Michael by Michael Kors Mini Hamilton bag it was love at first sight!
It’s like the love child of a Hermès Birkin and Céline Boston bag. The cross body style makes it easy to incorporate for a day to night look.
Features of the mini Hamilton:Colours: comes in 4 shades,Tangerine, Black, Aqua, and Electric Pink. I opted for the bright orange shade, though I should warn you they are not as bright as the online images which is fine by me as I want to use this baby all year round!
Size: it’s classed as a ‘mini’ but I find the adjective ‘tiny’ is a far better description. Its measurements come in at: height 13cm, width 17cm and depth 6cm. The size is what ultimately sold it for me, seriously guys it’s so adorable in person. I can see myself using it for a casual weekend coffee catch-up with friends as well as dinners out. (Will update on how much I managed to squeeze in it)
Finish: Saffiano leather.
Price: at £120 its even cheaper than an MK watch!
Availability: Selfridges, House of Fraser, and Michael Kors stores. I was told at Selfridges that this bag is only available in Europe for some reason (which the salesperson didn’t wish to elaborate on). They are apparently selling like hot cakes with the tangerine shade being the most popular – so I was pleased I managed to grab the last one today. But don’t fret ladies, they are regularly replenishing stocks at every concession!
My new MK bag will be making its debut this Friday for the opening ceremony of the Olympics in London. I will add a photo or two of it on my shoulder then 🙂
