My V-Day Face featuring MAC Flirt & Tease Blush – Glam Radar
by Fifi · April 14, 2015
I was going to post this along with the hilarious pic of Aslan last night but was too tired and so I decided to save it for today instead. Well, here it is, my very simple Valentine’s Day look. Boyfriend and I didn’t care that much about Valentine’s Day so we just went to the mall, bought a couple of books, and had some overpriced coffee. Lol, it was a blast.

I received my MAC Flirt & Tease blush last week. At first I was horrified because the blush looked SO dark in the pan but luckily it applies sheer and I can build the color gradually. I should have known because it IS a sheertone shimmer after all. I expected the color to be plummier or even redder, but on my cheeks Flirt & Tease looks a lot more pink than anything else. You agree?
Even though so, I still love the color and I think the shimmers are gorgeous. They create this glowy effect on my cheeks. They’re not the type of shimmers that accentuate my pores so I really appreciate that as well. MAC Sheertone Shimmer Powder Blush in Flirt & Tease left: swatched heavily, right: one swipe
Looks very different in the pan and on my arm, right? Such a tricky shade! I bet it’ll look different at a MAC counter too.
All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with this blush even though it’s not exactly what I was looking for (something darker and more purple on the cheeks). At least it’s an appropriate shade for school or work. I’m sure I will be wearing this blush a lot because it compliments my medium skintone and it goes well with most eye makeup.
I’m ending this post with a picture of Aslan from last night again. It was the first time Aslan ever laid his head on a book while sleeping. Usually he prefers my thigh or even an actual pillow, hence the idea to take a picture of him looking like he was reading (boyfriend came up with that). I swear to God I almost died of laughing when taking pictures of him. Silly cat!
