Hello girls here is my Lancome Le French Touch Lipstick In Rose Candy, Soft Marsmallow & Sweet Marmalade Review!
As is the theme for most Spring releases, Lancôme’s Roseraie des Delices is all about soft & pretty colours. I must admit Lancôme has been impressing me a lot with their recent collections and I couldn’t resist the lipsticks.
Le French Touch lipsticks are only occasionally released with seasonal collections and always limited edition. That being said, I have occasionally spotted ones from previous releases at counters so I don’t think they sell out too quickly.
The lipsticks are tiny (a little over 5cm tall) but they have a very weightly feel to them due to the metal lid. The lid fits onto the base quite snugly – there is no catch mechanism to ensure the cap stays on securely but I don’t have problems with the lid slipping off.
Rose Candy is a bright, almost fuschia, pink, Soft Marshmallow is a sheer cool pastel pink and Sweet Marmalade is a sheer peachy pink. All three lipsticks have a sheer, glossy and lightweight texture. The formula is really nice, and along the lines of other lipstick/lipbalm hybrids without feeling greasy on the lips. Considering how harsh the weather has been lately, they do a good job of keeping my lips moisturised. The glossy finish does wear away quickly, usually after an hour in my experience, but the colour manages to hang around for another hour or two before fading. I can’t detect any scent or taste from these.
