Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Review

I love mists. I love MAC Fix + and so it comes as no surprise that I love this beauty – Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist.

It’s not a new product; I believe it’s been part of their line for quite some time, but it’s worth another look at because it is a really versatile product and like everything from the Jurlique range, smells absolutely delightful.

Firstly, for those of you uninitiated into the Jurlique Fan Club, let me tell you a little bit about the brand.

Jurlique are Australian, made and owned. Their products have been made on a farm in South Australia for over 25 years, and they have a number of best-selling products, including the famedHand Cream. Did you know they sell four of these every minute?!

Their products are all made from a potent blend of herbs and flowers, which mean not only are they superbly effective and natural, they smell divine.

Jurlique-Rosewater-Balancing-Mist-review Rosewater-Balancing-Mist-by-JurliqueOk, on to my review of their Rosewater Balancing MistIt’s “A hydrating mist, rich in the living energy of rose and marshmallow to restore, tone and hydrate. Leaves the skin balanced and refreshed. Ideal for maintaining balance.”

I mist it on after I’m out of the shower, before I use serum and moisturiser.

I know I said recently I don’t believe in toner but I think this product is different. It’s not designed to further cleanse my skin, but it just preps my skin for the other products I’m going to layer over it, and locks in the extra hydration I need during winter.

In addition, I use the mist in the evenings when I don’t want to moisturise before bed, and I also it on the weekends when my skin is makeup-free, as a bit of a midday pick-me-up. It’s also ideal for the summer when it’s hot and you want something that’s going to cool you down, but not suck all the moisture out of your skin.

You could spray it on after your makeup – I don’t, because I use MAC Fix + for that, but it’s an option, especially if you use cream products. I probably wouldn’t suggest using it if you’ve just powdered your face.

I use a lot of natural, plant-based products from brands like Eve Lom and Kiehl’s and I find thatJurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist is complementary and fits in really well with my existing regime.

Also, I love the smell. LOVE.

Jurlique also make a number of other skin toning mists, including
