Illamasqua Androgen Pigment Review + Swatches – Glam Radar

Illamasqua Androgen Pigment – Bought for £7 in a blog sale / Original price – £17.50

I’ve wanted this pigment from Illasmasqua ever since I saw it on In The Frow and how nice it looked on Victoria, but being a broke student, £17.50 for one pigment is slightly out of my price range. So when I spotted it in a blog sale one day, I snapped it up as quickly as possible and i’m now very much in love with it! Androgen is a gorgeous pinky/peach shade and because it is a pigment you can use it on your cheeks, lips and eyes. I haven’t tested it on my eyes yet (though i’m sure it looks lovely), but I have been using it everyday on my cheeks and lips since I got it (see last photo:)). It has a cream formula, which I find makes it much easier to blend out to how you want it to look. When applying it to my cheeks, I use my finger to dab it along my cheeks and then blend it out with a buffing brush until i’m happy with the result. For my lips, I usually apply a layer of vaseline before and then use my finger to dab it on because it can be a bit drying, but just add a slick of lip balm underneath and you’re all good to go! Overall I think this a lovely versatile product that is super easy to use and looks gorgeous! Though i’m not sure if I would pay the £17.50 original price tag for it, it is definitely a staple in my everyday makeup routine now! Have you tried Androgen before?
