Eve Lom’s TLC Radiance Cream and Skin QR Organics L’Air Du Soleil review

Sun Protection & Moisturiser : Eve Lom’s TLC Radiance Cream and Skin QR Organics L’Air Du Soleil  review

The last post in my skincare series – finally! This post was probably going to be delayed anyway, just because I started off doing things one way, and recently switched. Not products, just my process. I was waiting to get my routine down pat with regards to skincare and moisturiser before telling you all.

As I said though, the products haven’t changed. Since June this year I’ve been using Eve Lom’s TLC Radiance Cream as my moisturiser, and Skin QR Organics L’Air Du Soleil as my sunscreen.

If you’ve only heard of their famous cleanser (which, let me just say is famous for a reason – I’ve raved about it twice here and here) then let me assure you that Eve Lom’s moisturiser is not just a pretty accessory in the range. UK Voguesays it’s “A softening, hydrating blend of anti-oxidant Arctic raspberries, vitamin-packed rosehip seed oil and lifting, smoothing oat kernel extract.”

Eve Lom TLC Radiance Cream is suitable for all skin types, and the reason I love it is because it’s lightweight, and settles in immediately – it’s great for someone like me who doesn’t have a lot of time in the morning. I need a moisturiser that doesn’t need 5-10 minutes of sink-in time. I apply my primer/foundation almost immediately after putting this on.

I also love that gives me a boost of ingredients that I don’t always get in the morning. It has Rosehip Seed oil which is a good source of Vitamin A & C (vitamin c is a must-have in any person’s routine – see my serum review here) and is naturally fragranced with Rose Otto (sister of Miranda?). I love rose fragrances.

It also doesn’t have a sunscreen which is another reason I love it. I firmly believe in wearing a seperate sunscreen during the day, but if I’m going out at night and want to re-cleanse and moisturise, I don’t have to worry about sunscreen in my moisturiser and subsequent white cast if someone dares point a flash at me.

It hydrates, and gives me an extra radiance boost in the morning, when I need it the most. I know that a good moisturiser is quite easy to find and that if you’re going to splurge on any part of your routine then moisturiser isn’t it, but that said… I can’t really live without this little darling and I’ll repurchase it when it runs out.

Australia: $95 available exclusively at Mecca Cosmetica
UK: £42.00 from evelom.co.uk who ship internationally

As I mentioned, Eve Lom TLC Radiance Cream doesn’t have sunscreen in it, which is where the last step in my morning skincare routine comes in.
