Barry M ‘Bright Purple’ Nail Polish Review

Barry M 'Bright Purple' Nail Polish Review2

One of the things I was looking forward to this autumn (mainly because of all the blogger chats on Twitter) was darker coloured nails, and buying some new purple, burgundy and red nail polish. I picked up this lovely shimmery purple shade by Barry M a couple of weeks ago now and have loved wearing it.
‘Bright Purple’ is opaque in two coats, and has a shimmery metallic finish on the nails. I like that it lasts for a few days without chipping, even without a top coat. None of the Barry M polishes I have tried have been watery and this applies nice and evenly to the nail without going streaky. I think the purple/ plum colour is great for this time of year, and would be nice as a base for a sparkly top coat for something a bit different. I think they could have come up with a nicer name for the polish, but I still like it overall.
Barry M have become one of my favourite nail polish brands, there are quite a few more I have my eye on for over the autumn and winter including Indigo, Vivid Purple and Red Wine. Barry M Nail Paints are £2.99 fromSuperdrug and Boots, or £3.99 for their ‘effects’ polishes including the textured line, magnetic nails and their Gelly Hi-Shine paints.
What’s your favourite colour by Barry M at the moment?
