PIGMENTATION: 4/5
TEXTURE: 5/5
LONGEVITY: 4/5
OVERALL: 4.5/5 THE GOOD:
- Pigmented
- Blendable
- Minimal fallout
- Lasts 6-8hrs
THE BAD:
- Getting discontinued
- Small shade selection
Bottom Line: Get these while you can! They’re one of the drugstore’s best blushes that I’ve tried and rival with MAC blush quality.
Pigmentation – ( 4 / 5 ) They really pack a punch for drugstore makeup without being too overwhelmingly pigmented! Luminous, however, shows up more of sheen than a color on my skin.
Shades – ( 1 / 5 ) They come in 4 shades so unfortunately, there’s not much selection (some matte, some shimmery).
Texture – ( 5 / 5 ) These are nicely packed and have minimal fallout with a soft velvety texture.
Longevity – ( 4 / 5 ) These last a good 6-8 hours and even through a nap!
Packaging – ( 3 / 5 ) It’s kind of bulky and the brush isn’t necessary. The mirror, I rarely use, but hey, at least it won’t break in your purse right?
Overall – ( 5 / 5 ) This is an amazing drugstore blush line that compares with my MAC blushes in texture, pigmentation, and longevity. My only complaints are: 1) small selection of colors, 2) it’s getting discontinued 🙁
Repurchase? Yes, most definitely!
1) Luminous (peachy pink with a gold sheen)– it barely shows up on my tan skin so all you’re left with is shimmer. If you’re NC35+, skip Luminous. Otherwise it’s beautiful on light-light/medium skintones (as I am during the winter). Dupe of NARS Orgasm. 2) Mai Tai (matte coral red)– I love this color! It has the perfect pigmentation, texture, and blends beautifully into the skin causing a nice flush. Pick this up if you can! Dupe of MAC’s Bite of an Apple (LE).
