Creative DIY Ideas for Your White Jeans – Glam Radar

White jeans are super chic and stylish but wearing them is not all that easy. Because white has to look clean and immaculate all the time, you have to be extra careful with what you do when wearing it which can be a little restricting. Personally, I have a few pairs of white jeans that I no longer wear because I managed to get stains on them that I can’t seem to remove and if you have a pair or two, too, sitting in your closet and you’re looking for ways to put them to good use again, check out these creative DIY ideas for your white jeans.

  • TIE DYE THEM – tie-dying is the best way to go if you’re looking to transform your white jeans into something you can use in the summer. This method allows you to add lots of color to the piece and get an interesting abstract design on it. Of course, if you’re not into rainbow-colored stuff, you can always choose to use only one color for tie-dying. Simpler tie-dye designs like this are great for adding a pop of color to your winter outfit, too. Don’t know how to tie-dye? Check out these alternative method below that will give you the same look.

  • ADD STUDS TO THEM – got little spots that need covering up? Add studs on these areas and scatter a few more around to give your white jeans an edgy twist. Now you can start wearing them again without worrying about them looking stained / soiled.

  • DISTRESS THEM – if you don’t want to be bothered about keeping a crisp and clean look but still want to wear white jeans, distress your pair to give them that rough and rugged look. This will give you a little more leeway when it comes to keeping your pair spotless. This is also a great DIY project for white jeans that have little rips on the legs because distressing them would make the rips look intentional instead of looking like a flaw.

  • DO AN OMBRE – want less crazy than the tie-dye but just as chic? How about giving your white pants an ombre makeover? All you need to get the job done is an old pair of white jeans and a packet of fabric dye. Prepare dye as instructed on the pack, dip a part of your jeans (top first or bottom first, you decide), let it dry, dip again and this time go further. Let it dry and repeat until you get the desired look.
