I hate my hair the day it’s washed. Well, strictly this is only true for “non-curly” days – second day curls are an adventure all by themselves. But when I’ve reached for my ever-near hair straighteners, tamer, smoother and unfluffy second day hair is much preferred to freshly washed, first day hair. So when I stumbled upon Lee Stafford’s aptly named I Hate My Hair the Day It’s Washed Solution Spray, I had to put this to the test.
“This is for those girls out there who absolutely hate their hair the day it’s washed because they can’t do anything with it. I find that about half of you suffer with this frizzy, flyaway and static hair-mare!
With a simple spritz this solution spray will give you tomorrow’s lived-in texture today! Transforming your freshly washed temperamental tresses into the more controllable, tameable hair you can normally only get the day after it’s been washed”.
So does it work? Quite simply, yes. When using I Hate My Hair he day it’s Washed, my out of control first day hair becomes controllable. Frizz and flyaways are a thing of the past (one particularly annoying flyaway has really calmed down!), and my hair is much less fluffy.
And don’t get me started on the smell. I fear that I may have become seriously addicted to the distinct Lee Stafford fragrance! As with all Lee Stafford products, I also adore the eye-catching packaging. There is no missing this unashamedly hot pink little number, and that’s just the way it should be.
So far so good, but if asked “would I buy this again?” , I would, ever so unfortunately, have to say no. Yes, this is a really great product, and does what it says on the tin, but when compared with my trusty Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum, there is no comparison.
