Tips on Wearing Short Boots
1. Dressy. In figuring out how to wear short boots, you can’t exclude being a uber fashionista in a feminine way regardless of colors. Peep-toe boots are easy to dress. Floral dresses are ultimately ladylike material but when worn with boots, it gets this hippie or boho vibe that you’d eventually love. A mini dress will do for something sexy but it has to look classy, not racy. And for that to happen, you’ll need to just show off the legs and nothing else. Perhaps the back as well, but more skin on legs so eyes are fixed below and actually notice what’s on your feet. If you really want to focus on the shoes, wear a plain dress and match the other accessories to it, like bag or hat. However, bag should be a different shade to not seem too matchy. Just how primped up do you want to get? If you’re more of the girl who’s always dressed in black, perhaps you can try wearing short boots in a different color. Black always looks even better when matched with interesting shoe color. Off to work? For boots to really work, you need fancy clothes and chic style to back it up. Try wearing prints, and more skirts but keep hemlines near the knees.
2. Casual. You can wear a skirt, shorts, or jeans but the effect is more laid back. Heels may be a little lower or completely flat. Want go more casual? Do denim. It’s the total street wear fabric and a classic now too, for casual dressing. Or you can wear something really short, like short shorts with a striped top. Short boots can make a difference in a miniskirt outfit too. it just has to stay flat.
3. Simple but Fierce. Going for extreme fashion? Be so fashion forward in wearing kickass boots with rivets matched with a maxi dress. Or you can just go motorcycle fashion if you’re up for it. The bolder you look, the better. Don’t hesitate to wear layers of clothes but for summer, less is cooler. And less accessories don’t mean you look any less of hot.
