THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SAY “AHHH” PAUL MITCHELL SPECIAL TEA TREE REVIEW | Glam Radar

Here is my review of THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SAY “AHHH” PAUL MITCHELL SPECIAL TEA TREE !

Have you ever watched an Herbal Essence commercial and thought “I need a shampoo like that?” I have! Obviously, trying Herbal Essence just proved that the shower moaners were simply paid actors. Gee, who would have thought?

Well, to my surprise a shampoo and conditioner that makes you ALMOST want to moan in the shower truly does exist! NOTE: I said ALMOST, I didn’t have THAT much fun in there!

I suffer from a dry/sensitive scalp. An embarrassing problem I’ve dealt with since I was in junior high school. I’ve tried numerous store bought and prescription shampoos and conditioners. Some did work, and many failed. The ones that did help improve my scalp often smelled like strong chemicals (A scent I dreaded smelling of.) Just as soon as my scalp is back to being healthy, it’s time for a weather change and I’m back to square one. It’s extremely frustrating! Already having frizzy dry curly hair, I cringe at the thought of using medicated shampoos all over again.

I almost passed this product up thinking I’d try a new clarifying shampoo. However, I noticed that ULTA carried a travels size of Paul Mitchells Tea Tree line. It contains a decent size shampoo, conditioner and conditioning treatment. With an itchy painful irritated scalp, $12 seemed like a small price to pay.

I rushed home to try it out and found myself in awe! This reminded me of the days I used to get scalp treatments at the salon. I would always look forward to my relaxing treatment and this felt the exact same way. It smells minty and fresh but most of all it feels amazing. You can literally feel the products working. After I was done shampooing and conditioning, I thought “I’d definitely like to do that again!”

With just a small dab of the shampoo, you can immediately feel the tingling sensation. The conditioner wasn’t exactly what I expected. It didn’t feel like anything amazing and it didn’t moisturize my hair nor did it detangle it. However, the conditioning treatment did exactly that. Most treatment shampoos dry my hair out and this did not. My hair felt amazing after I styled it. I’ll continue to use this when needed and I expect the travel size bottles to last me awhile. This “AWW” experience is well worth the $12. I’d honestly pay more for the product, but we wouldn’t want the company to know that!
