Here is my review of RIMMEL KATE MOSS MATTE IN #113  !

So I’m late on the bandwagon with this one but I thought I’d review it quickly anyway. These lipsticks are really difficult to come by, but I managed to pick one up in shade 113 a few weeks back and so far, so in love. I’ve already told you how much I love the previous Kate Moss lipsticks (I’m a huge fan of the Lasting Finish shades 08 and 04) but these ones skipped past my radar this month, and to be honest, I only really picked this up because they were buy one, get one half price in Boots and I was buying one as a gift. I picked up shade 113 as I’ve been looking for a nice, peach-nude lip for a while, and this seems to fit the bill. So what do I think of it? I’m difficult to impress when it comes to makeup, in fact, I feel like most of my reviews on here are at least a little bit negative, but here’s the thing: with this one, I really, really like it.

The lipstick applies like a dream – although it’s a matte formula, it feels really creamy and applies smoothly. It can feel dry after a few hours but this isn’t a huge problem for me. The colour is opaque (as can be expected of a matte lipstick) and the peach colour is just… perfection. Wear time is average, a few hours dependent on eating and drinking, but it’s easy enough to throw in your handbag (and the red packaging means it’s easy to find again in a rush) so reapplication after a few hours shouldn’t be a problem.

Overall, I am really impressed. I don’t know if I’ll be buying again from the Matte range, as I’m not that fussed about the colours, but the Lasting Finish range remains to be one of my favourites.
