What’s In My April Ipsy Bag

Hey everyone! When I arrived home this afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to see the bright pink foil envelope waiting for me at my doorstep. One look at this package and I always get ecstatic. If you don’t know what Ipsy is, it’s a monthly subscription that gives you usually 4-5 beauty products to try out. It is $10 a month, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I also tried Birchbox but unsubscribed to it because Ipsy is much better. Anyways, let’s get on to what was in the bag!

Here’s what the bag looked like this month. As you can see, it’s a very bright white with pink detailing. So cute! It’s not my favorite of their bags, but still pretty cute. As the months add up, so do the amount of bags laying in my cabinet. So what I do is use them to put gifts in for family and friends’ birthdays.

Here’s what was in the bag. There were only 4 items this month, but I think they are all full size, so I’m not complaining.
First thing I pulled out of the bag is a nail polish by Sation. I’ve never heard of this company but I like the color so I’m eager to try it out. It is called ‘Love At First Byte’ if you want to go on the Ipsy website and buy it for yourself.
Next came the BigSexyHair Powder Play which is a volumizing and texturizing powder. I’ve really wanted to try this because I’ve heard great things about it, and I’m psyched it came in the bag! Last month (or the month before), they put in the BigSexyHair volumizing hairspray and it was great. I’m sure I’ll love this as well.
Next was the pigment by Mica Beauty Cosmetics and it’s in the shade ‘Earth’. It’s a beautiful shimmery pink and I can’t wait to try it. (see below for a swatch)
And finally was a blush by Be A Bombshell Cosmetics. They have added a few lip products and an eyeliner in previous bags and I’ve loved them. This is in the shade ‘beach please’. So cute! It’s just a bright hot pink. (see below for a swatch)

Here is a swatch of the pigment (on top) and the blush (on bottom). I love these colors and can’t wait to try them out!

Overall I am extremely pleased with this month’s bag (then again, when am I not?) and if you aren’t subscribed to Ipsy please do so! It’s amazing and you won’t regret it!

Are you subscribed to Ipsy, or any other monthly beauty boxes? If so, how did you like this month’s?
