Tom Ford Lipstick – True Coral review swatches – Glam Radar

All hail Tom Ford! His Private Blend lipsticks are just divine. Today I’m going to showcase True Coral, a colour that would normally make me a little wary (oranges are SO not my thing) but True Coral is one hot lipstick!

The colour is a deep coral with slight red tones, it’s a little darker than I expect for a ‘coral’ lipstick. The shade is very warm and vibrant yet rich; which I think was what I liked about it. Instead of being ‘garish’ as most oranges are on me, True Coral had equal parts orange and red, making it more flattering for lighter skin-tones. As with most of the other Tom Ford Private Lable lipsticks; True Coral is VERY pigmented. A single swipe will give you plenty of colour.

Try True Coral with winged liquid liner in place of a red lipstick for a modern take on a classic look. Pair with a summery coral blush (like Nars Orgasm) for a tonal theme. Want something a little more glam? Pop a gloss with golden shimmers over the top for a pout that will get LOADS of attention.
