Tips & Toes Professionals Smoothening Face Primer- Review
Hello my beauties!
One makeup product that I often skip is primer. The only primer I had tried up till now is the one by MUA. I thought it was decent, but it never really became a part of my makeup routine.
So when Tips & Toes sent their primer to me, I was very excited about trying it.
What the company says-
Use TIPS & TOES Face Primer before foundation for a flawless application. It creates an
even, ideal canvas for foundation by filling in fine lines and large pores so that foundation
goes on looking porcelain smooth. Emollients give your skin silky softness.
This silky light weight mattifying primer instantly evens out pores, fine lines and wrinkles
of your skin creating a smooth base for applying foundation. It absorbs sebum and reduces
oily shine from your skin which helps your make-up to last longer. The result is the perfect
base for your make-up and a wonderfully radiant finish.
You can also apply this primer alone to give yourself an oil free radiant look.
I quite like the packaging of the primer. The black and gold bottle is sleek and classy. It is a squeeze bottle with a nozzle, which releases just the amount that is required.
Take a look at the ingredients and directions.
It has a gel like consistency and is easy to blend.
As soon as I applied this, I felt that my face had become completely smooth and ready for makeup application. The smoothness and softness is very obvious, and this was not the case with my other primer.
I was most excited about the oil controlling feature. To test that, I did not apply any powder/compact to set my makeup. And yes, this primer controls oil! My T-zone can get oily even when I have powder on. But the primer really helped keep my face oil free. So big thumbs up to Tips & Toes!
But, even though the company claims that the primer can be worn alone, I do not recommend that. It looks a little unnaturally matte when worn alone.
So do I recommend Tips & Toes Professionals Smoothening Face Primer ?
Hell ya! Girls you need to try this product to understand how awesome it is. Though the price tag may seem a little steep, the primer will last you for a long long time and the quality justifies the price!
