The Body Shop- Shea Body Butter Review

The Body Shop- Shea Body Butter Review

I love body butters from The Body Shop. They come in the most amazing scents and are very moisturising. I actually have 6 stocked up a the moment because I always buy them when they have a 50% off code. This is the one both Connor and I are using (and loving) at the moment:

The first reason why I love this body butter is because my Mam used it when we went to Thailand in 2001 so the scent reminds me of that amazing holiday (yes, I do remember what moisturiser my mam used on a holiday which was 10 years ago, don’t judge ok?! I worry for my sanity sometimes… )
This moisturiser is designed for very dry skin and my word you can certainly tell. It’s the thickest moisturiser that I have ever used. The feeling of the moisturiser stays on your skin for about 12 hours, but it doesn’t feel greasy at all. Now, this might be a positive or negative depending on personal tastes, but Connor and I don’t mind it at all. I believe this will be perfect in the dead of winter, but also at the moment when I am trying to maintain a tan (and will be gaining even more of a one when we go to Turkey 5 weeks today!)The-Body-Shop-Shea-Body-Butter-Review
The smell is gorgeous, now I’m really bad at describing smells but I think this smells a bit like perfumed chocolate? Mam thinks a musky sun tan lotion and Connor thinks it smells quite manly. So you will really have to go into the shop and smell it yourself because we can’t decide!!
Anyways, if you have very dry skin I literally couldn’t recommend this enough. Yet another victory for The Body Shop? I think so!
You can buy this 200ml tub from The Body Shop stores and online for £12.50, however The Body Shop always have different discount codes floating around on twitter or via their email newsletter.
