The Body Shop Colourglide Lipcolour in Pink Flirt Review – Glam Radar

This was what I picked up from The Body Shop for my 8th stamp on my Love Your Body card. Here is my review The Body Shop Colourglide Lipcolour in Pink Flirt !

Annoyingly I think I swatched a different shade, fell in love, then picked up the wrong one as this is nothing like the 1 I thought I was getting.  I’ll have heard back up and pick up shade 59, Neon Pink, but for now let me show you shade 57, Pink Flirt.

A bright shade in the tube this doesn’t exactly translate when it’s swatched.  As you see, one swipe doesn’t impart much colour and it takes a good few swipes to achieve the colour that the lipstick looks in the bullet.

That said, I do like it.  The packaging is lovely.

I love the sleek, silver tube.

It’s really moisturising and feels lovely on.  I suppose this is more like a tinted lip balm but this does mean that I can touch up without a mirror and not worry about looking a fright which is very useful.  It’s a really summery shade that I think will look even better with a tan.

I blended the swatches and really like the colour it’s left so I’m going to try this as a blusher and see if that works well.  I do like a multi tasking product.

I know some people think that The Body Shop make up is getting too expensive and at £9.00, this lipstick certainly isn’t the cheapest on the high street.  I can’t comment on the range as this is the first item of make up I’ve had from there in ages but it’s pretty similar in price to the likes of L’Oreal and Revlon so I don’t think it’s overpriced.

Are you a fan of The Body Shop’s make up?
