There is a lot of love for The Body Shop in my life at the moment, and their Born Lippy Raspberry lip balm are certainly no exception. The Body Shop’s collection of lip balms have a cult following and for very good reason – these low cost, high quality lip balms are absolutely brilliant and I have become slightly more than addicted with mine. Made with raspberry extract and beeswax, this sweetly smelling lip balm moisturises and nourishes dry and chapped lips, leaving them soft, smooth and lovely. Thanks to this little gem, chapped lips have become a thing of the past. And as if that wasn’t enough, this balm gives a glossy finish with a natural red tint – absolutely perfect for when you’re out and about and don’t have time to be reapplying your lip gloss.
The smell is divine. One of my earliest childhood memories is picking and eating the raspberries that grew in our garden, so I’ve always had somewhat of a penchant for anything raspberry related – and happily to report, The Body Shop Born Lippy Raspberry lip balm is somewhat more than raspberry related. This is the raspberries from my garden duplicated into a plastic pot and is completely delightful. The scent and fragrance lingers after applying and is not in any way, shape or form overpowering.
The final thing that makes this wonderful lip balm from The Body Shop even better is the price. £2. That’s less than a ride on the Tube (don’t get me started). The wonderful quality of this lip balm makes the £2 pricetag a positive steal, and with a whole host of scents available, it would be rude not to stock up! A very well deserved five star.
