I love to eat fish it has to be my favorite protein to munch on when I am eating healthy.  But sometimes it can get boring when your dealing with tilapia.  Don’t get me wrong I love that little fresh water fish but it can be very bland at times.  So today I will show you how I gave this little fishy its sexy back and added some yummy flavors that I am sure you will love.  I made this for my sister last week and she absolutely enjoyed it and she hates healthy food so that was a compliment ha ha.  As a side I sauteed some spinach but you can eat this with any side of your choice.

Ingredients 4 Tilapia fillets 1 cup of cherry tomatoes sliced in half 1 tsp of minced garlic 2 tbsp of olive oil 1/2 cup of chopped basil leaves salt and pepper to taste

lemon wedges

Directions
Heat up a non stick skillet over medium high heat and add 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of garlic.  Season your tilapia with some salt and pepper and then cook them in the pan with the garlic.  Let each side cook for 2 minutes.  In another skillet add some garlic and olive oil and cook the cherry tomatoes until they have softened.  Once they are done place them in a bowl and mix them with the basil.  When you have finished cooking all of your fish, place them on a plate and top them with the tomato basil and squeeze some fresh lime juice on top.  Serve it with whatever side you like and enjoy!
