Summer Polish Picks – Glam Radar

by Maria · July 17, 2014

Well its summer, so now I find that I have more time (and more desire!) to change my polish colors more often than when I’m at school. These are the colors that I’ve been loving and reaching for the most the past few days! 1-summer-polish-picks 2-polish-picks-for-summer L-R :Color Club Nail Color in Jackie Oh!, Zoya Polish in Jessika, Essie Sand Tropez, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet I actually have Jackie Oh! on my nails right now! This is just a great neon pink shade. Like I’ve said before, I’m not really big into trendy fashion. I really like classic/preppy styles. So while I like the neon trend, I’m not about to start wearing highlighter yellow any time soon. This is a great way for me to participate in the trend, without fully committing to it! Jessika and Sand Tropez have been my go-to neutrals lately. Jessika is a pale, sheer baby pink color that looks amazing paired with Essie’s Nude Beach. Sand Tropez is a gray-neutral that is great for days when I don’t want a ton of color on my nails (because even I need a break from pink every once in a while!) Mint Sorbet is a great dupe for Essie’s Mint Candy Apple if y’all can’t find it or don’t want to spend the money on it. This is a great shade to use if you have a tan, because it really pops against darker skin! I love painting this on my fingers and toes for a day at the beach. 3-sally-hansen-insta-dri-top-coat And of course, no manicure would be complete without my trusty Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. This makes my nail polish last a good 2-3 extra days without chipping, and also adds a ton of shine to my manicures. What polish colors have y’all been liking lately?
