Stiletto Nails by Bella Loretta REVIEW | Glam Radar

I have been obsessed with Stiletto nails since I saw Lana Del Rey showcasing them last year.
Here is my review of Stiletto Nails by Bella Loretta !

I like bold, statement parts of fashion and beauty; for instance I would much rather have a set of bright pink nails than a French manicure. I love the shape of the stiletto nails- long in length, graduating into a point, rather like claws! I know they aren’t to everybody’s taste, but I have always been curious as to what they would be like. However, I have been reluctant to get them done in a shop, as they then would be a permanent fixture on my hands, and because I have to type for work, I imagine they will cause quite a hindrance in day to day life. However, the lovely Bella Loretta, nail manicurist to the stars, has brought out a fabulous range of custom stick on nails, meaning this trend is much more accessible.

How incredible do these look? I am so obsessed with them, I think the detail is so intricate, and I adore the colours. The whole process of ordering these nails is simple. You go to Loretta’s Facebook page, and take a look at the huge amount of designs she does. Seriously, this girl is an artist! I found it quite a task deciding what I wanted they were that impressive.

You then email her (all her deets are listed on her Facebook page) with your details, and she then will send you a selection of plain nails to try, so you can select the correct size and shape for your own natural nails before she makes them. I love this idea, purely because there is nothing more annoying than false nails that are too big/small, which results in them looking obviously fake.

Then she sets to work designing your nails. The service is super quick-I got mine within a week of sending back my size. She has a whole host of fabulous designs, but you can also design your own nails if you have seen a particular style you like that she doesn’t have. They cost in the region of £25 which I truly think is good value; I haven’t seen any like this anywhere else, and the craftsmanship of these is superb.

I much prefer having these acrylic nails that you can remove yourself- because they are so long, I like to wear them only over the weekend period; I think they are ideal for this.

I apply them using this glue which I got in Superdrug, but you can also use nail transfers to help keep them in place. I apply the glue on to my own nail, and press the nail down for a few seconds to ensure it bonds. These lasted really well; around three days. When Loretta sends you the nails, she also includes clear instructions on how to remove them and care for them. I thoroughly recommend her service, and quite fancy getting this design next!

What do you think of these nails?
