Nude by Nature BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream in Light review and swatch – Glam Radar

This post marks the first time I’ve ever genuinely bought something for this blog. Sure, I say I’m buying things for the blog all the time, but that’s just my fall-back excuse when I can’t think of any logical justification for my purchase. For example:

You realize you don’t actually wear eyeshadow.
I know that. It’s for the blog.

Sucked in sensible friend, I really bought it because I wanted it for no reason.

I like Australian natural beauty brand Nude by Nature and I like BB creams, so simple mathematics tells me that I should really like Nude by Nature’s latest offering, the BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream ($19.95 AUD/50mL). BB creams, first popularized in Asia, are a foundation-like cream with added sunscreen and other skincare benefits. The Nude by Nature BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream promises to deliver the ‘miracles’ of skin hydration, radiance, correction, and protection. That’s a fairly low threshold for a miracle, isn’t it, but oh well. On first swatch in Priceline, I was put off by the very light colour and sheer coverage, but I bought it anyway because there’s not much information about this product available online yet.

The BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream comes packaged in a squeeze tube:

On first squeezing some out of the tube, the BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream in Light is a pink-based porcelain colour and has a thick, cream consistency. It has a comforting botanical smell.

However, once I rubbed it in, I found the colour adjusted more to my skin tone (or more likely, I adjusted to the colour). It didn’t quite want to rub in for me, but when it did, it left a natural, satin finish. As you can see, the BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream offers very sheer to sheer coverage.

There are times when I prefer sheer coverage, but probably not this sheer. I’ve only worn the Nude by Nature BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream in Light once so far, but I found that although it felt lovely on my skin, it didn’t have great lasting power. I do believe that BB creams are generally quite different from tinted moisturisers, but the Nude by Nature BB 5-in-1 Miracle Cream inLight is very much like one. If cruelty free + creamy texture + sheer coverage ticks boxes for you, then you’re onto a winner. If you’re a fair-bear, even better.

Now, I’m off to buy some totally nonsensical beauty products. IT’S FOR THE BLOG Post.

Note: As mentioned, Nude by Nature is a cruelty-free brand.
