Hey everyone~ :3 As promised, for the next several posts, I will try my best to catch up with my to-review list. Whew! The list has been piling up for mooonths~ All because I’ve been slacking and lazing around, eek. I’m sorry lah~ ;^; (See, I’ve been SO lazy that I’ve even stopped using cute emoticons LOL)

So yeah, the products I’ll be reviewing in the next several posts, I’ve been using for quite a while, but was too lazy to review. Hee~ ^^;

What I like about it: ♥ Waterproof ♥ Doesn’t smudge, smear nor transfer ♥ Once dry, doesn’t budge (unless you rub it~ then it will flake) ♥ Synthetic brush is soft yet firm enough ♥ Good pigmentation — not great but good enough ♥ Great to carry around for quick touch ups — since it’s pen type, it’s easy to carry around and to bring out, unlike with gel liner where if you need to do a little touch up, you’d have to take your pot and your brush out, open the pot… You know how it goes. ♥ Comes off  easily with makeup remover ♥ Lovely packaging

♥ Sealed x 3! So you know you’re getting a fresh productmajolica-majorca-perfect-automatic-liner-look-swatches

What I don’t like about it: – Not as versatile as gel/cream liners – Liquid formula is a bit trickier to work with compared to gel/cream liners – Soft brush may be difficult to get used to for first-timers – Takes a bit of time to dry – Since the consistency is watery and a little thin, sometimes the color doesn’t seem to transfer as easily, and I would have to go over a line a few times. – Flakes after several hours of wearing or when your eyelids are extra oily

– Twist-click dispensing mechanism at the bottom of the pen is a little difficult to control

Comments:
I used to love liquid liners, and I was quite used to using them, too. But ever since I started using gel liner, er, long ago, I seem to have forgotten how to use liquid eyeliners with ease. HOHO ^^; I find gel or cream liners much easier to work with. They’re also more versatile — you can create bold lines, as well as nicely blend or feather them out for a softer look. With liquid liners, you have to be extra careful when applying, IMO.

Still, I really like this eyeliner! (See “What I like about it” list above, hoho~) I’m not crazy about it but, yeah. Hee~ I use this mainly where my beloved MAC Fluidline tends to fail — at the inner 1/4 to 1/3 of my upper eyelids/lashline. I don’t know why, but my Fluidline fades easily in those areas. Probably because those parts are oilier? Idk. But Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner does wonders for me in those areas. Waterproof, no smudging, no smearing, hardly any fading. A few times, it flaked after several hours of wearing, but it was the end of the day and I was already in the car on my way home so it didn’t bother me anymore. :3 For the outer part of my eyelids/lashline, I still prefer to use Fluidline as it is easier to control (drawing the wing) and is easier to blend and feather out.

By the way, I’ve tried Revlon’s liquid pen liner before, like ages ago, the one with the felt tip. It wasn’t good at all. No, it was awful! Just wanted to say, lol. :p

So anyway, overall, Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner is a good product to have and to carry around. Great staying power. It’s easy to use, too, but I still find gel/cream liners more versatile and easier to work with.

Will I repurchase? Most likely

I’ll leave you with an FOTD from yesterday. K, FINE, THIS IS HOW MY MAKEUP LOOKS EVERYDAY SO THIS IS A POINTLESS FOTD, IT’S JUST ONE OF MY SELCAS FROM YESTERDAY LAH OKAY, hoho~ @@ (The only things I change in my everyday makeup are the cheek color and lip color, depending on my mood~ Oh, and minus the falsies, I rarely wear falsies, just mascara. And I usually use BB cream instead of actual foundation. :3)
