NARS Amour Blush Review – Glam Radar

Nars Amor blush is my first Nars blush purchase and it was a bit of an impulse buy to be honest. I’m on a huge blush buying kick at the moment, i’m also on a lipstick kick but thats another post.  My sister helped me pick out a shade as I didn’t want to go for the typical Nars Orgasm since it can be so easily duped for cheaper products these days. I was also about to make my first Nars lipstick purchase but my sister restrained me as i’d already bought three MAC lipsticks that day (I have a problem).

After looking online at other bloggers reviews and comparing different swatches,  I decided the first NARS blush I’d like to try would be Amour, a pretty peach. Peach and orange shades are definitely my favourite when it comes to blush as I find pink can make me look too barbie-like which is never a good look, especially when I’ve got bright blonde hair.

After having a swatch, I couldn’t wait to see how it looked on my cheeks and again, I wasn’t disappointed. As soon as I swept it over my cheeks, my skin looked healthy and glowing. The pinky peach shade isn’t at all over-powering and gives my skin a natural flush of colour. nars-amour-blush-review-swatches

We ended up picking Nars Amour blush as its a matte finish. Nars describes it as a peachy pink but I find it quite a rosy shade, its extremely pigmented with no chalky texture. It applies and blends beautifully with my Real Techniques blush brush or Japonesque bamboo kabuki. This is definitely one of the most long lasting blushes I own with around eight hours of wear. Although its a brilliant product its a little bit pricy at €29/£19.50/$26 for 4.8g of product. It can be purchased online  if you don’t have a NARS counter near you. I will undoubtedly be picking up some more Nars products in the near future. Let me know if you have any recommendations.
