Nails of the Day Barry M Lychee and Models Own Champagne | Glam Radar

For the past month or so, I have been going back to the same nail combination each time I re-do my nails, and for this reason I gathered I should do a blog post on it, along with some mini reviews on the nail polishes them selves, s 8000 o without further a do I’ll get started. Here is my review of Nails of the Day Barry M Lychee and Models Own Champagne  !

First off, I like to apply a base coat to help condition and strengthen my relatively weak nails. I don’t have a particular favourite, but currently I am using one from Avon which is from their Nail Experts range and is called the gel-strength base coat. It isn’t by any means the best I have tried, however for the price it does its job so I can’t really complain…it does what it says on the bottle!

I have then been applying two coats of shade Lychee, which is one of the shades from the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints. I have been really liking the formula of these nail paints and own a few of the colours, however this one is my favourite ( at the moment…this could well change in a week or so lol) It is a nude/brown/creamy colour. I feel that this colour compliments my skin tone nicely and don’t think that it makes my hands look washed out as some nude shades can. I also love how it gives such a glossy finish without a top coat. You can achive a good coverage with just one coat also, but I just prefer to apply two. Here is my review of Nails of the Day Barry M Lychee and Models Own Champagne  ! I then like to apply a coat of Models Own Champagne on my ring finer. This colour is BEAUTIFUL, it is very shimmery and is a typical champagne colour. The tiny flecks of gold shimmer/glitters sparkly delicately in the light, yet is not too obtrusive which I why I choose this for day time wear.Again the formula and quality is excellent for the price tag, and very chip resistant. I then finish with a coat of Jessica Brilliance top coat, to give it some extra protection and a high gloss shine. The Jessica Top Coat is by far my favourite top coat I have tried to date as it gives a nice gloss which stays for ages, and it dosn’t take too long to dry…which as you mums out there will know, this is important with a toddler in the house!! However I am currently running quite low on my beloved top coat and am on the hunt for a new one. I have heard loads of good things about the Seche vite top coat. Have any of you tried it? Would be great to see what you think!
