MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Review – Glam Radar

I am somewhat troubled by MUA. After using several of their products, I still cannot fathom how their low price tag matches up to their impressive quality. This is especially true with the Intense Colour Eyeliner and believe me when I say that at £1 a pop, this is an absolute steal.

The Intense Eyeliner Pencil “produces a precise and well defined line for accentuating the eyes with an intense colour finish”. This is a wonderfully creamy eyeliner that simply glides onto the eye making this easy as pie to use.  This can be as intense as you want it to be. Applied with a light touch this gives a soft and subtle finish, but can be easily built up to provide a more dramatic and intense finish. Pigmentation is good and the colour pay-off is impressive.

Even the packaging for this eyeliner is darling. Complete with a sharpener in the lid, I was mightily prepared to be disappointed, but as it turns out, that was far from the truth. The sharpener works exceptionally well and is perfectly matched to the softness of the pencil so it doesn’t send your eyeliner into a goopy mess. This addition makes this the perfect on-the-go eyeliner and has safely become a fixture in my handbag. And let’s be honest, at only 100 pence for this eyeliner, you can afford to have one at home, one in your bag, one at work…the list is endless.

Staying power is around six to eight hours, which when you think matches eyeliners with price-tags ten times more, is hardly something to grumble about. Priced at £1 and available from Superdrug and MUA.
