Maybelline Color Show Nail Paint- Midnight Taupe – Glam Radar

Hi everyone.
By now, all of you have bought or at least heard of the new nail paint collection by Maybelline. With 40 shades and a reasonable price tag of Rs.75, you’ll definitely find something you like.

Maybelline sent two shades to me- Midnight Taupe and Moon Beam. I’ll be reviewing Midnight Taupe for you today.

Midnight Taupe is a dark purple-brown shade. When I swatched it, my first thought was that it would be so gorgeous for winters.  

But, I am very disappointed with the formula. The application is very streaky and patchy. The other shade is fine so maybe it’s just this shade which doesn’t apply well. You need three coats for it to be totally opaque, which is strange for such a dark color.

Overall, I love the color but I am pretty disappointed with the patchy application.
