Garnier Ambre Solaire Wash Off No Streaks Bronzer review :

Hello lovelies, today I thought I’d share with you my latest discovery in the world of all things bronze. I’m definitely not a tanning regular, I’m afraid I’m just too lazy to keep an all year round glow, but now and again 519e for a night out or special occasion I do like to indulge in a bit of the fake stuff to give me a bit of colour.

I prefer to get a proper spray tan at my local salon usually as I really don’t trust myself to apply it without streaks, but I feel I can tackle a bit of build up tan or instant wash off tan comfortably. When I discovered this new instant tan from Garnier Ambre Solaire I couldn’t resist giving it a go and I wasn’t disappointed.

This is a new product from Ambre Solaire that washes off with soap and water which is very convenient for its purpose as a quick fix tan – obviously those of you who are tanning regulars will want a more prolonged effect, but it was perfect for me as I’m happy to just give myself a bronzed glow for a night out before returning to my usual pale self! The product comes in a Shimmer or Matte variety – I went for Matte as I wasn’t sure whether the Shimmer version would be too much – if anyone has tried the Shimmer one I’d love to know what it’s like!

The product itself is really dark when it first comes out of the bottle which is great when applying as you can see where you have applied it to avoid streaky disasters! This was definitely a bonus for me as someone who is almost scared to touch the stuff for fear of a streaky orange tan! Another brilliant aspect of Garnier Ambre Solaire Wash Off No Streaks Bronzer  for me was the lovely smell. I’m usually not a fan of tan that claims to lack the ‘self tan smell’ as I often feel masking the smell can make it worse (like the poor attempts of a cheap air freshener in a smelly public toilet!) but this product genuinely smells lovely and sweet without the biscuity scent.

As for the tan…I found it really easy to apply just buffing it onto my skin with a tanning mitt and it gave me a lovely subtle glow. I was really impressed with Garnier Ambre Solaire Wash Off No Streaks Bronzer  and I will continue to use it before a night out as I love the fact you can just slap it on and go – none of this building it up for days before your night out or sitting around like an oompa loompa for 8 hours before showering the product off – I’m far too impatient for that!
