L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss 513 Iced Truffle review – Glam Radar

L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss 513  Iced Truffle  review : World’s naughtiest Blogger reporting for duty! It’s been a wee while, hasn’t it? Not only have I missed out on blogging for a couple of days, but I’m also blogging on a weekend. What in the world has gotten into me? I’ve got a sort-of review for you all today, and it’s something that I generally don’t touch on; hair. While I could happily ramble on and on about which foundation is the best, or whether you should splurge on that gorgeous Topshop bag, I found hair products are something you simply can sometimes avoid. Shampoo and conditioners do the trick regardless of what the companies claim, and as much as we’d all love to religiously use Bumble & Bumble sea salt spray to look that effortlessly gorgeous, it’s generally easier to shove your untreated locks up into a topknot. Now, being the rather backwards idiot that I am, I decided I was in desperate need for a change. I’m growing my hair out, and I’m quite pleased as to the length it’s at, but I’ve been ‘rocking’ the ombre look for a year now, and it simply doesn’t cut it any more. So, during my weekly shop at ASDA, I made an impromptu purchase of the L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss in the shade Iced Truffle. While I know that rash, spur-of-the-moment decisions can often end up going horrendously, I’m rather pleased at the outcome of this one. L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss in Iced Truffle / Boots £6.49 or ASDA £4.00

I’m super impressed with how it turned out! For £4.00 you get three different components to the hair dye, all of which come with specific but easy-to-read step-by-step instructions on how to use them. My Mum was there for a helping hand to apply the colourant evenly throughout my hair – she’s had her fair share of different hair colours, so she knows her stuff. You leave it in for 20 minutes, in which I instagrammed my way through it, and then wash it off with the most gorgeously smelling conditioner to leave your locks silky smooth. And here it is.  loreal-casting-crc3a8me-gloss-513-iced-truffle-1024x768-500x375-1 While it says that it only really enhances your current colour by taking it a few shades darker, you can see just how much darker it’s turned my otherwise mousey-brown hair. Even the blonder, dip-dyed tips have gone this gorgeous ‘iced truffle’ colour. I am in love with it, completely and utterly.

I genuinely can’t stop smiling with my new hair. Just as a disclaimer, I haven’t been sponsored by L’Oreal or even encouraged to write this post; I was just so bloody pleased with the results that I justhad to write up a post for you all. Anyway , L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss in Iced Truffle  is only a semi-permanent dye that can last up to 28 washes, which means it’s perfect for anybody who’s feeling particularly experimental. For under a tenner, I can guarantee you will get your money’s worth of this little gem. Hats off to you, L’Oreal. How do you like my new hair? Would you take the plunge and go darker, or lighter?
