Here is my review of Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc – Peach Mosaic !
I’ve always like a healthy glowy look(who doesn’t like?) and my HG healthy skin faker is the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc. *inhale deeply* It’s a shimmery compact with 4 tones that you can mix all four colors to create a lightly shimmery glowy effect for the face & body or you can opt to use all colors individually for shadows or highlight. *Phew*
I like the design of Laura Mercier products, it’s simple but elegant. I feel high class whenever I take this shimmer bloc out and use it in front of people. xD Pardon my ignorance, now lets get back to the review.
Like you see here, the powder is really really fine and it’s very shimmery but don’t worry, it’s light when you’ve applied on the face (with light stroke of course, don’t come and blame me if you’ve use this like it’s a face powder) and it glows nicely. However, remember that there are some places that you shouldn’t be using this on, eg. under eye area, below cheek bones, etc… This is not really a bronzer and using it wrongly will only emphasize your flaws. Use it on your nose bridge (lightly), forehead and chin (very very lightly), apple of the cheek (use it on top of your blush) and even your collarbone for highlight. 
If you choose to use them as eyeshadow, they are actually very pigmented. They do greats in creating a dimensional eye look because of the shimmers. The lightest color can use as highlighter and dot it at the inner eyes to brighten up your eyes. I love this color the most.
So I’ll show a swatch for all four colors individually.
If I’m to compare this shimmer bloc with Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, I’ll say I prefer this because BB Shimmer Brick is way too shimmery to my liking.
This is really a really good product. It won’t turn your face into a disco ball and it’s very versatile. I like multipurpose products. It’s retail at RM159.00 each at all Laura Mercier counters and it can last very very long time.
