Here’s a really really mini haul post for you. I’m sadly still really busy with exams and working so I’ve still not got much time for blogging :(. This one’s mainly about my new Lush shampoo but I also couldn’t resist a new nail polish recently so here’s my first addition from Sinful!

The shade is a really nice, not too in-your-face pink. My only issue is the formula is quite… runny? Eugh that’s a horrible word haha. But for £1.99 I can’t complain, and you do get a massive 15ml bottle. So, to the main event, a few weeks ago now I read this post about the Jumping Juniper shampoo bar from Lush. jumping-juniper-lush-shampoo2 jumping-juniper-lush-shampoo3 To be honest, before I got into blogging I thought Lush was one of those shops that just sold bath bombs and, living in a student flat with only a shower, it wouldn’t be of much use to me. Since then I’ve found out it has all sorts of goodies, and it’s a Canadian company (I loooove Canada). I also have a similar problem as Suzy from the post that my hair gets greasy super super quickly. I can wash it at night, and in the morning it will be greasy enough to have to use a bit of dry shampoo. It’s so annoying and really time consuming. (although it is partly my fault, I never seem to stop touching it…) So when I heard about this Jumping Juniper bar, I was excited. I couldn’t wait to have hair that actually lasted more than about 12 hours…! At first I found the idea of a solid shampoo a bit weird. How would it lather? I have tons of hair, it’ll never cover it all! But I was surprised… it lathered up better than some of the shampoos I’ve used and didn’t leave my hair really knotty which is what I’d read in some of the reviews. So far it’s been about a 36 hours and my hair is still going strong! You can see it’s slightly on the turn on top and will probably need some dry shampoo tomorrow but still. This is exciting news, I think I may be a Lush convert! Plus it smells like a dream. Am I the only one that’s been missing out on Lush all this time? Anyone have any other recommendations for me?
