Illamasqua Cream Pigment in ‘Hollow’ Review – Glam Radar

by Maria · June 28, 2014

And so here is my Illamasqua Cream Pigment in ‘Hollow’ Review ladies!

I’ve got three products from Illamasqua recently that i’m pretty impressed with so rather than putting them all in one post and overloading everyone with information i’m going to post them seperately.

So the first product of the bunch is one of their cream pigments in Hollow. Now i’ve got a pretty round face so contouring is one of the things that i’m completely obsessed with, as I think it can change your face shape so much, and now so many products are out on the market to do it i’ve been trying out all sorts to get that perfect contoured look.

This is the first cream product i’ve tried so far and i’ve got to say i’m really impressed. It’s got more of a waxy texture to it so you have to give it a bit of a rub to get it out, but it’s really highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. I’ve been applying with my fingertips then blending with the Real Techniques contour brush and it blends absolutely flawlessly.

I think it’s the perfect colour for people with fairer skintones as it’s got a really cool tone to it and has more of a shadowy effect than bronze, which is what you want for contour and I think where a lot of people go wrong, buying a bronzer and using it for contouring, which is fine, but I think it can look a bit too reddy/orangey.

At £17.50 it’s not cheap, but I think it’s going to last me a really long time. It can also double up as an eye or lip colour too, not too sure about lip colour with my skintone but I think it’ll look really nice as a base for a bronzey smokey eye or even on it’s own, love a multi use product!

Stay tuned for my next installment of Illamasqua!
