ez-Release Earring Remover Review – Glam Radar

The majority of girls have their ears pierced, and its never the actual procedure that hurts, it’s taking the earrings out which can be frustrating and difficult. From personal experience I know my palms got sweaty, my hands would start to shake and it literally took me around half an hour to remove them- not to mention the skin was tender, the hole was fresh, so when you stand there in front of your mirror and start tugging on the piercing it would hurt.

If you google search how to remove starter earrings you would be filled some outrageous results (people even recommended to use butter/oil to make the process easier!), but not too long ago, a product was released to specially remove starter earrings without the pain, tugging AND butter!

Usually when you get starter earrings they usually come with ‘butterfly’ backs to make sure they don’t fall out during the healing process. The lock which is also known as the little dip is there to make sure that the butterfly backing does not fall out (phew!), so that’s why when we try to remove the earring it’s quite difficult. The picture above is an example of starter earrings- mine specifically which I had to endure for four months!

Ez-release is a pretty simple concept, however when I tried it out for the first time it took a few tries before I could grasp it. The most important thing is to have a steady hand and use allot of pressure. You simply place the ‘butterflies’ into the hooks and squeeze before it pops of.

Once you get the hang of it, it’s so simple and easy! You can, of course, use it for your normal earrings if you have difficulty taking them out- especially if you have children and they tend to move around allot. When you use ez-release it does not apply pressure to the ear which is great because it usually leaves my ears a little swollen and red, so when I use ez-release it’s painless and (obviously) pressure-free. Check out ez-Release and let me know what you think!
