Hi guys here is my BOURJOIS little round pot blush review and swatches !

Late last year I went through a severe blush phase, and I was naturally attracted to Bourjois because of their extensive blush shades. I really like these  Bourjois blushes, and all the shades are extremely wearable so I can understand why they are so popular.

With a light hand, even Santal, the darkest shade in the range, can work for pale skin tones. Those familiar with Bourjois products will already know that the large majority of their make-up is scented, and these do have an extremely strong powdery rose scent. I have ten of these little round pot blushes in total which I store together, and they do create quite a pungent smell, but it no longer bothers me and I dispise rose scents in general. It isn’t particularly noticeable when applied but even so, the smell may be off putting to some.

Packaging wise, I like that the blushes come in colour complimenting pots which makes them super easy to distinguish apart, and they come with a small mirror in the lid as well as a small brush (useless IMO), but I personally don’t feel that the packaging is well made enough to be carried around for long periods of time – a make-up bag perhaps but not loosely in the bottom of a large handbag.

One last thing; like many baked products, these are also prone to harden over time (and become more difficult to pick up colour). It hasn’t happened to me yet, but if and when it does, it should be easily solved by simply using a hard brush to remove the top layer.

                        03 Brun Cuivré is an peachy brown with shimmer.

               33 Lilas D’Or is a medium rosy pink with golden shimmer.

         34 Rose D’Or is a cool toned bubblegum pink with gold shimmer.

35 Lune D’Or is a light beige peach with strong golden shimmer. It isn’t very pigmented and works best on fair skin as blush or medium-dark skin as a highlighter.

48 Cendre De Rose Brune is a highly pigmented, muted rosy pink in a matte finish.

                54 Rose Frisson is a peachy pink with very subtle shimmer.

    74 Rose Ambré is a very pigmented warm toned rose in a matte finish.

              85 Sienne is a sheer peachy brown in a semi-matte/satin finish. 

92 Santal is a highly pigmented warm toned brown with subtle shimmer.

95 Rose De Jaspe is a medium peachy pink with subtle silver shimmer. It isn’t terribly pigmented and will require layering on darker skin tones.
