Tabbouleh Arabic Salad Recipe – Glam Radar

by Natalie · December 11, 2015

This is a great salad recipe that I have been eating my whole life probably since birth.  You can go to Arabic restaurants and ask for this salad but it has no comparison to my aunts recipe.  That is why I asked her for it and it was made for Thanksgiving lunch with the whole family.  I hope you guys try this recipe out I promise it is better than any Tabbouleh salad at any Arabic restaurant.

Ingredients (depending on how much you make is how many of each you will use) Place the couscous in a large bowl and splash some water on top and let it sit there for a few minutes.  Mix in the food processor the tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, mynt, green onions, and romaine lettuce.  Pulse and chop each ingredient separately and place it in the bowl with the couscous.   Make sure to stir all the ingredients together.  Then drizzle some olive oil and salt.  Stir to combine all the ingredients.  Then add a lot of lemon juice.  The trick to this salad is to keep drizzling olive oil, salt, and lemon juice until it tastes just right.  The lemon juice should overpower the other two to make the perfect dressing.  Keep stirring to combine everything and to serve just place it over a romaine lettuce and eat it like a taco.  My dad use to do that all the time.
