St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse review

Hi! Here is my review of St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse with photos !

St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse review
I have been to St Moritz and although it is uber-glam like St Tropez, it is still a ski resort so I’m a little confused as to why a tanning product has been named after it. I tried the much talked-about St Moriz recently and I have to say I was seriously impressed with the results, despite the dodgy (and not to mention, misspelled) name. It took me to a place no other fake tan has taken me before – a deep, dark tan that looked surprisingly natural – more like three weeks in the Caribbean than ten minutes in my bathroom.
I’m not one for religously applying fake tan – I don’t have the patience, nor am I horrified enough my my natural skintone to compel me to tan on a consistent basis. I have used the St Tropez instant mousse on a couple of occasions but never thought the result was worth the effort of latex gloves, exfoliation etc etc.
I have applied it a few times now, and by trial and error, have come up with the perfect way to apply that literally took me five minutes to do my whole body.
In addition to a bottle of St Moriz you will need…..a St Tropez Soft Mitt and a latex glove.St Tropez Soft Mitt review
This mitt was about £3 from Boots, and although designed for use with a self-tanning lotion, it works really well with the mousse. You will need to wear a latex glove under it, because the mousse seeps through and gets onto the tropez the ulimate tan mitt review
The mitt makes application completely streak-free, and because its surface area is larger than your palm, it is much, much quicker. I really couldn’t believe how it cut the application time down and applied with zero streaking. It is also really good for doing your back as you can put the mousse onto the other side of the mitt to reach those areas that the palm can’t quite get.
The tan lasted for five days without fading which I think is pretty good. Here is a picture of it the day after I did it….It shows the colour quite well, I didn’t use it on my face, only my body.St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse photo
I would just like to add that the first time I applied this I used my bare hands and it was a streaky nightmare – the soft mitt is the way forward and I will never resort to using my hands again!
The RRP of St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse  is £7.99 and it sells for this amount online. It can also be found in TK Maxx for £4.99 and if you are lucky enough to live near a Home Bargains store you can pick it up for £2.99 which is an absolute bargain.
I have a whole box of self-tanners to try out and review – next up will be the new St Tropez everyday self tanning mousse so look out for the review! xxx
