It’s about time I gave you my current round-up of my recent skincare loves, since my last skincare picks post I’ve discovered some beauty gems that have made it to my favourites list so I’m very excited to share them with you. kiehls-ultra-facial-cream-dhc-deep-cleansing-oil-dermalogica-skinperfect-primer-by-terry-baume-de-rose DHC deep cleansing oil,Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream ,Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer,Terry Baume De Rose Lets get started with the DHC deep cleansing oil. I’ve said goodbye to micellar waters to remove my makeup and have given a welcoming hello to oils. I love oil based products, they meet with my skin on a regular basis. E.g morning and night time cleansing with Emma Hardie and skin replenishment on a night time with African Botanics. And now when removing my makeup, a few pumps of this and a quick massage results in a thorough pre-cleanse to prep my skin for the next step. Next up is the Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. Known to be a favourite of many celebrities including the Olsen twins, which I’m not going to lie was one of the reasons why I wanted to try it. And oh boy am I glad I did. Where do I start? The texture is perfect, I like to think of it as a gel meets cream, making it lovely for all skin types. It’s on the light-medium side in consistency but sinks in perfectly and doesn’t feel too emollient or tacky. Yet hydrating at the same time. Love it. Now, lets talk primers. One of those products that I tend to use for a couple of months then stop, for absolutely no reason, don’t ask. Well, the latest one I have on the go is Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF30. A flesh toned, silicone textured primer that smoothes out the skin and leaves a radiance finish due to the iridescent particals within the product. Everything about it floats my boat, especially the SPF protection. Last but not least, I will start with saying, yes it’s worth it. Possibly the most expensive lip balm that I have laid my eyes on and that has touched my lips. By Terry Baume De Rose. A pretty milky pink lip balm that leaves a pink hue on the lips. Why is it worth it you say? The texture is spot on, lasts a reasonable amount of time on your lips, the packaging is divine (I know this shouldn’t matter) and it has SPF15 protection. From my personal experience it’s very hard to find a good lip balm that doesn’t vtaint any nasties, that has SPF. Above all that its very hydrating all in all making it a perfect handbag companion.
