Lush Brazened Honey Review – Glam Radar

Here is my review Lush Brazened Honey !

Today I review Lush’s Brazened Honey fresh face mask. I’ve been using this for three weeks now and am very impressed overall. Before I started using this mask I had spots in places over my face. After I had no spots on my face.

Ingredients:

♥ “Kaolin, Talc, Fresh Organic Lime Juice (Citrus aurantifolia), Sage; Rosemary and Juniperberry Infusion (Salvia officinalis; Rosmarinus officinalis and Juniperus communis), Fresh Free Range Eggs, Honey, Glycerine, Fresh Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), Ground Almond Shells (Prunus dulcis), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Bentonite Gel, Fresh Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale), Fresh Parsley (Carum petroselinum), Fresh Coriander (Coriandrum sativum), Ground Tumeric (Curcuma longa), Ground Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), Clove Bud Oil (Eugenia caryophyllus), Ginger Oil (Zingiber officinale), Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides), Juniperberry Oil (Juniperus communis), *Benzyl Salicylate, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Linalool, Perfume” ♥ The formulation consists of only natural products. That are all very good for skin. Thumbs up  Directions:

♥ Apply to clean skin, avoiding eye area
♥ Leave for 5-10 minutes.
♥ Rinse off whilst gently massaging

The first week I only used it once. I’d had my nose pierced the previous week and was quite hesitant to use it around my nose area, just incase it got infected. The once I did use it though I noticed to biggest change. It felt like a layer of my skin came off with the grains. My skin felt so soft.

The second week I used it every other day and around my nose area. As I had my nose pierced I wasn’t really cleansing or toning my nose area as I normally would. Which meant that I had started to develop, little white heads over my nose. On the 4th use I noticed the little spots had disappeared.

The third week I was so used to using the product that I began using it whenever and wherever. I was using it in the bath, just before I went to work (gave me a fresh face look, if I say so myself) and whilst lying in the sun. I found that when I used it in the bath, the steam reacted with probably the honey and my face was very moisturised. Which is really rare for an exfoliating face mask as I find they dry out my face.

Whilst using this I never changed any part of my normal skin care routine, to give me the best idea of how the product actually works. I really really like Brazened Honey because it dealt with the problems I had on my face and refreshed my tired skin. Although the price tag of £5.25 is a bit hefty for something that expires in  3 weeks, it is a nice treat for the face and neck. I got about 8 uses out of it, which is really good considering the packed one you get in drug stores are 99p. Would I re-purchase?

Without a doubt YES! But right after I’ve tried all the others.

Overall rating: *****
