Simple diy lip scrub with maple syrup :

So this recipe is absolutely perfect for autumn when your lips are feeling a little flakey and under the weather. It doesn’t just exfoliate using sugar but uses maple syrup and coconut oil to help give you super smooth lips ready for all of that kissing under the mistletoe in December (hopefully!)   Plus, it is completely vegan and super easy to make it only takes ten minutes.

  • Caster Sugar – (2 1/2 tablespoons) This is the thing that is going to get rid of all of those pesky flakes that come hand in hand with dry lips.
  • Coconut Oil – (1 tablespoon) Super moisturising and tastes lovely! It has a very low melting point so it’s just going to melt into your lips. T
  • Vitamin E – (5 drops) This is another moisturising ingredient it’s great at keeping your lips smooth and soft
  • Maple Syrup – (1/2 tablespoon) Adding the Autumn to the mix the maple syrup gives the scrub a lovely sweet taste! You’ll just want to eat it all.

This one is super easy, all you need to do is mix the coconut oil and maple syrup together mix it to get some of the lumps out of the coconut oil. It should be a thick consistency thats not too runny but not too hard either, if you feel its too runny add more coconut oil.
Then add your five drops of vitamin E oil before stirring in your sugar. Add the sugar a bit at a time until you are happy with the consistency of your scrub (you may not need all 2 1/2 tablespoons of it) bare in mind that once the coconut oil hardens again the mix will be a little less runny.
Spoon your scrub into a container and you’re done! So easy!
