Shopping the Stash – Glam Radar

Well now that I’m home and I’m reunited with my whole collection again, I’ve been shopping my stash a bit and rediscovering things that have been neglected for a while. To find out what I’ve been reincorporating into my routine lately, keep reading! Clinique Take the Day Off Eye Makeup Remover; Urban Decay 24/7 Liners in Ransom, Electric, and Mildew; Clinique Clarifying Lotion Type 3; Annabelle Big Show Lip Gloss in Night at the OK Coral, MAC Lightscapade Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3: I stopped using this when I found my Clarisonic Mia last July. For some reason, I thought that using a toner and the Clarisonic together wouldn’t be a good idea, but lately I’ve been loving it! I wash my face twice a day, but I use the Clarisonic only once a day. When I’m not using the Clarisonic I’ve been using this toner and loving the results! I like to use this in the morning to help me get all of the ‘sleepy grime’ off of my face! MAC MSF in Lightscapade: Highlighters and I have an interesting relationship. I love them, and I think they are some of my favorite products to play around with when I’m doing my makeup or shopping at Ulta and Sephora. However, I find that on a day to day basis, highlighter is sort of an optional (aka hardly ever used) step. I have oily skin, so I find that my skin has a natural glow a few hours into the day thus making highlighter a little bit unnecessary. However, I like to slap it on my face, so I’m darn well going to!

Urban Decay Liners: I usually reach for my neutral liners on a day to day basis, just because I don’t have to think about them, and I know they’ll go with whatever makeup I put on the rest of my face. Since it’s summer, I tend to reach less for eye shadows, and more for colored liners to give my eyes a pop. These three make my blue-green eyes really stand out, so I can definitely see myself using a lot of these in the near future! Annabelle Big Show Gloss in Night at the OK Coral. I actually don’t know if this gloss has a real name or not: I won it in a naming contest over at Funny Face Beautya while ago. It’s a really sheer coral color that has a nice slip to it. I like pairing this over lipstick because it still lets the color of the lipstick shine through, while adding just a touch of coral. Clinique Take the Day off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips: I’ve got tons of small bottles of this stuff from various Clinique bonuses! Before, I couldn’t be bothered with eye makeup remover. I thought it was just an extra step that wasn’t really necessary. However, I’ve been starting to get into skincare more now, and I don’t really want to be pulling and tugging excessively on my under eye area. That’s where this comes in! I pour a bit of this on a cotton pad or on an unused corner of my makeup wipe and use it to gently remover my eye makeup. I find that this formula can be a bit greasy at times, but it’s really moisturizing and gets EVERY trace of eye makeup off. I think I’m a convert! What have you rediscovered in your collection lately?
