Soft Grey Eye Make-up – Glam Radar

A heads up for Suqqu fans. As much as I hate to take part in, never mind encourage, the ridiculous grab as much as you can, as fast as you can mentality towards limited edition make-up, after a Twitter conversations with @alipstickaday @londonmugirl @ninarei and @purpleprbeauty regarding the Spring Collection last night, I caved in to the pressure, and called the Suqqu counters in Selfridges to reserve items (the three LE blush duos). It frustrates me that we have to rush after Suqqu products like this, but, from past experiences, their limited edition products sell absurdly fast, and it is easier to participate in this madness than to attempt to track down products for reasonable prices on eBay afterwards. The SAs first told me the collection should be released in the UK around “mid-March” but when I pressed for an exact date, they told me March 1st. She also inquired after my location (we spoke in Mandarin over the telephone) so if you do want something, act quickly because there will be a lot of Suqqu customers from overseas placing large orders with them.

Now onto eye make-up. I so often post eye make-up pictures of only my right eye that I wanted to reassure you I do have a left one to go with it! The main reason why I tend to avoid photographing both is because I am very paranoid/sensative about my unsymmetrical eyes (thanks for pointing it out to me mum!) Also, I am not good at making my make-up look the same for both sides (see wonky false lashes) but it is not everyday I put this much effort into my appearance so here we are…

I know people always discourages the use of a white pencil on the waterline, but, when applied sheerly, I actually find it looks better against my skin tone than a flesh/neutral coloured one – must experiment more. Also, the dark brown line parallel to my lower lash line is actually how the skin naturally folds. I did use a brown eye shadow to shade the area slightly, but it looks as if I simply drew a line straight across, and honestly I didn’t 😛

I must apologise for the dirty make-up picture. I took this picture immediately after application, and clearly was naive as to how much the camera picks up. I promise to attack my make-up with a wet wipe before I show case them in a photo next time.
