SEVENTEEN Doll’d Up Mascara Review

I picked up this mascara for £2 – the only reason I even considered to buy it. If you’ve read my other mascara posts you’ll know that I like to stay familiar to my Miss Sporty one. I find it hard to love mascaras. I had some Boots vouchers sent through the post, this new mascara was included in the offer, and for £2 I thought it was at least worth a try. It normally retails at £6.29 from Boots. It claims to create show stopping eye drama, with special lash lifting 24-hour curl and volume benefits and an anti-clump brush, you can make sure you that your lashes stay firmly in the limelight. Well, we all want that don’t we?! Limelight lashes. The curved brush is specially designed to give you a fabulous set of doll-like lashes to super-charge your cheeky side this winter for amazing volume and curl without clumping. It can create a beautiful overstated wide-eyed look, applying to your top and bottom lashes. It claims it has 24 hours of staying power so you can flutter your lashes all day and all night!

I really like this mascara, which is something I didn’t think I’d be able to say. The curved brush is kind of sharp but I’m hoping after a few uses it will calm down a little bit as I know some of my other new mascaras do this sometimes, but then calm down after a couple of uses. It glides onto my lashes so effortlessly and you can all but instantly see the “doll-like lashes”. It adds curl and length, but it’s not too thick which is always a bonus, who likes spider lashes? I really think I will be re-purchasing this, its has pretty much become my favourite mascara of all time! What’s better is that it is only £6.29, its a decent sized tube too, and you don’t need much, so I can see this lasting a while.
