During S/S10, it seemed like the only skirt lengths available in the shops were mini or maxi. While I love maxis, I find ultra-short minis (i.e. dresses so short they might as well be tops) extremely restrictive and impossible to wear. However, one of my favorite skirt lengths is set to be a big trend for A/W10-11: the midi! It’s such a feminine, flattering length, don’t you think?
We took these pictures in a beautiful nursery – I love all the pretty, blooming flowers and plants! But I did have a few battles with bees… Do you like my new sunglasses? I was on a hunt for cat-eye sunnies and I finally found some I liked, although I had to wait a couple of months before they were in stock! Wearing: no-label dress (from a boutique in Stanmore, I think), H&aM cardigan (a new purchase), Beverly Feldman wedges (which I later swapped out for some comfier gold knot wedges bought in Vienna), Tom Ford cat-eye sunnies (another new purchase), Essie Peach Daiquiri nailpolish, LV handbag To those of you who have sent me e-mails and Tweets asking why I haven’t updated the blog, thank you for thinking of me! I had computer issues, but my parents bought me a new computer for my birthday (which is tomorrow!) so I’m back online now.
Thank you to the ever-lovely Meream for awarding me the “You’re Going Places, Baby!” award and tagging me here! If you’d like to read my 10-year plans, check out the comments section of the post. And while you’re at it, have a peek at the rest of Meream’s blog – she’s one of my favorite bloggers; so talented and creative! And thank you Kelly for passing along the Sunshine Award – I’ve recently discovered Kelly’s blog and I love all the pretty things she posts!
